So I've been getting lots of things ready to make a project, story, items in mind, what kind of etc.

So basically I want everyone's here honest opinion what is better for a game Final Fantasy Tactics style, RPG maker xp or rpg maker vx?

Well, there's no real difference in the engines, since the main Tactics systems for both versions were written by the same person, but I believe more addons for Gubid's have been made for RPG Maker VX, which is the one I'm the most familiar with, so yeah, VX.
