Do you know this game ?

Well I know its weird Im lookin for a game that I dont even know its name. But that game effected me a lot. Umm..
It was 2001 or 2002 I guess.. I bought a game magazine that gives a lot of demos. One of the demos was a RPG. I liked it a lot
but I dont remember its name now. I'll try to tell its story maybe you can help.

You start in a little village (like many other Rpgs) .There is a girl and another boy with you. I dont remember why they
have to travel to a mountain to the north. On the way they encounter a "dark angel" like man. That man beat them all.
Then another man appears like a real angel. Heals you and helps you to beat the bad guy. Then he joins your party..
You arrive summit of the mountain and find an old man. He tolds "This journey is not for girls." The girl in our
party gets angry but she dont give up. Old man speaks a lot. Then you return to your village and find it demolished.
All houses burning. You find someone alive. He lends you his ship. You use the ship and sail to another village. This
village is too attacked and the bad guys still here. You beat the bad guys.. Heroes speaks a bit and then demo ends..

Well.. Anybody knows a Rpg like this ?  Please help me to find it.. =(

When you leave a place like a village or forest etc. you enter a big map (like many other Rpgs).

Battles happen on a battle screen lookin like rpg maker batlle screens but there is a picture
behind the monsters.

The girl in the game is a healer.

You have to pass a forest to get to the mountain. There is a few chests there and a hole.
If you go down that hole you find your self in a black screen and a skeleton waits in the
center of it. You can fight it but its too powerful to kill. But if you ask for help he teleports
you to forest again.

Pc I guess but maybe it was given with a emulator I dont remember. =/

Edit: Nope =( The game I played doesnt have side view battle system. If Im not wrong , you can only see the monsters
you are fighting. (Its like Rpg maker battle system)

Nah, I've played all the Phantasy Star games and it doesn't sound like one.

It sounds too standard fantasy to be MegaTen.
Phantasy Star games are all Action Battle System, this isn't Phantasy Star.

It could be a Dragon Warrior/Quest game though, given his description of the battle system.
