Yes.
Is it possible to change an existing character in the hero's party battle sprites with an event?
If not; then is it possible to store someone's level and stats and give it to another character when they make their appearance?

BG info, since the question sounds a little confusing.

I have a character with different battle sprites, face gfx, and charsheet, but is only temporary until the hero gets to a certain part of the game.  They revile themselves as a totally different person with a different face gfx, charsheet, and battle sprites. I want to keep the level and stats of the disappearing character and give them to the one entering. I hope this clears somethings up and what I'm asking gets known.

Help is much obliged.

"Dear diary, jack pot"
It should be on the third tab or first in change actor and then you'll see actor sprite, and battle sprite.

(I can't remember exactly how sicne rpg maker 2003 doesn't work on this pc)
Deceased, the memories of time flow ever lasting. Let the passion of the living and the dead touch you, and give you their wisdom.

I'd sooner die than leave your side, I'd sooner rust than let you die.

Yes.
The only thing I see close to that is "Change Sprite Association," and that only changes the walking sprites.

Couldn't you just run 2003 in XP service Pack 1? It worked for me on vista and win7
