lol opps forgot to disable the saving.. XD it was lagging on an anti-lag script!? wtf? it didnt lag at all for me, did you find the "sprint shoes" those speed up the walking. and how are the battles slow? like it takes a while to kill the baddies or what? explain the slow battles. Ill fix the save and walking problems on the next demo release. Im getting tired of all this bak and forth stuff to get them to work properly. But thanks for letting me know whats wrong, and how else can I fix the lag? if I have "anti-lag script" OH YEAH. where did you get stuck at?

And how would I set the walk speed up? I know how to do it with an item, but not through an event.

Im trying to fix this, this is my FIRST project btw. again. i guess Ill fix stuff, and post another link. if you want to walk faster you need to find the "sprint shoes" (like the ones in Final Fantasy 6) you can get one pair early on in the game..

alright show me a screen shot, and ill see whats up. I changed the character speed, and baddie's are weaker, and characters, Equipment stronger. I disabled the save, and hopefully in the screen shot if its just hidden ill tell you where to go, and fix it, but usually on the maps, the Light brown dirt is kinda like a path, so that will tell you the way, also some spots have signs to tell you which way is where. lol. but yeah Ill get on that when I see where the problem is. Thanks :)

I have a sprint script, you press C and he runs. You could just have a common event where if sprint shoes are in your inventory, activate sprint script

I got the sprint shoe thing already, where if there equiped you press "Z" on the keyboard to run. so thats all good :) Thanks anyway :)

If you press F12 to restart, the map freezes. Just putting it out there. I can't see any lagging, though save isn't disabled and some teleport events are st on touch while some are set on action. Also, three potions isn't much when you have to take down a whole pile of enemies, and leveling barely does anything for you. It should be a bit more balanced, IMO.

Apart from those, the game's pretty good so far.

EDIT: Btw, that dungeon is ridiculously long for 4 potions.

Yeah, the next demo, which will be released at the end of the week will have the enemies and characters more balanced, Save will be disabled, and ill look out for those teleports too. Also I still need to see where that other guy was getting stuck at, So I can possibly fix that too. and what would i do to fix the F12 thing? Ill try to make the baddies in the dungeon drop potions, and Ill add a few to the chests :)

Ill be playing it again, regularly to see what else is wrong instead of playing it through the project creator window.

ok. :( that sucks are you sure its not your PC? cause I dont get any lag, and I dont think anyone else has. and Im running mine with 512MB RAM with no lag.

Kidfox70. It happens.
So I have to say over all it was nice. I didn't get any lag. I did see some Mapping issuses. The only issuses were sometime things I could walk over and others I couldn't, like a barrel or a table. I guess the only one I remeber is in the second room in the begining Farm house, the barrel. Some of the house in town have the problem and one of the shop. I should taken notes, sorry.  Or maybe you intended to happen, if that;s the case then, eh. I think you should be proud, it's nice. I agree with the others, the intro is pretty amazing, did not see the ground spliting the way it did. GOOD JOB! :)

kidfox, no I didnt intend for those to be like that, thanks for informing me that those tiles are in need of fix, I will get to that ASAP, im working on the next demo, which is maybe and additional... 2 or 3 hours. should be release maybe Friday.

@ anyone that can help: BY CHANCE DOES ANYONE GET A SCRIPT ERROR IF YOU FINISH A BATTLE WITH A CHARACTER DEAD?

i get error:
Script 'Window_BattleResult' line 88: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method '[]' for nil:NilClass.

if you can help me out with this Id really appreciate it, cause I cant continue the game progress till its fix.


@Dylan: Then ill have to go through them and Recolour the battlers, but sure. Ill take a gander, I know using RTP's suck thats why I spiced it up alittle using Recolours, for some.

no more updates till its released and if I continue working on it like I am now, it should be done.... October-ish, if not Ill be done... around December. I like lost fun games, like Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy VI, so Im trying to make this something along those lines, with a hint of other games here and there, like TLOZ: A Link to the Past, and other great SNES games.

Ill try to keep interesting by posting Screen Shots. and updating the first post, so keep checking.

Edit: Im adding a costume setting soon into the game, which will feature, up to 6 different costumes, for each character. and each costume will have a unique power within it.
