Vampyre's SBABS Event vs Enemies?[HELP] for VX

Using Vampyre's SBABS, is it possible to create an event and have that event fight enemies along side with the player? If so, how? An example could be: events likes soldiers in a village(Without being in your party) help the player fight off the evading enemies.
