RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.
Can anyone link me to a good site for learning ruby from scratch.

BBCode FTW!
Prefferably a guide that only teaches the stuff I will need for RGSS 2?
I know most of the technical words (properties syntax etc.) from a different programming language that I've already learnt and nearly masteered so they aren't a problem either.

I suggest you take a look at this sticky: http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,1723.0.html

A lot of the tutorials listed are specifically directed toward RGSS but they'll still help for the important stuff since the only significant difference is the library; I don't know of any good ones directed at RGSS2, but just learn Ruby. It's a better way to go about it in my opinion.

Once you know Ruby, it is easy enough to familiarize yourself with the library of RGSS2. Just look in the Help File.

Thanks modern, I suppose the only differences are pre-set functions and variables? (Between RGSS and the RM version)
