Heres a little project im working on as a test of my "abilities". Its nothing special, nothing custom or anything. But i want to hear your opinions.

Story

This is the story of a kid/adult whatever you want to think. That fell asleep after playing Final Fantasy (which i have never played). He then dreams of being in a medival universe. And thats all i got to say about it so far.

Its at v0.6 right now because i got to add:
- The castle and put it in the plot
- Fix my grammer and spelling (does anyone wanna help me on this?)
- redo my maps (again anyone wanna help me?)
- and fix my custom character that I use at the end. (I NEED HELP BAD ON THIS)
Reason im asking for help is that Im going on vaction in like 2 days and I want my thing fixed up a bit. Ill give the source code to anyone that wants to help me. Ill give you credit.

Is this a project? If so you might want to look at the topics that have been stickied. Even take a look at POTM, and see how a thread is suppose to be made if you don't want to read the stickied topic telling you how to make one.

The screenshots are missing also, the links are dead.

POTM? Also just play the game if you want to see it. Atleast tell me what you think so i know what im doing/wrong. Its just a project to see what rpgmvx can do and what i can do for now try my new version.

Problem is that no one is going to download it if they don't know what they are downloading.

What do you mean? Go to the link its the exe for the game.

You need to put up screenshot and info about the game in your thread, people wants to see what they are downloading, before they download it.

I played the game, and it's a nice start, but it's very short and there are some things you should be aware of:
- your spelling and grammar needs to be checked.
- You should work more on your maps.
- Edit the database, at least slightly.

As said, I wouldn't want to download something and I have no clue what I'm downloading. I want to know if you meet the requirements for myself to see if the story is interesting for me. Think when you see a new video game on TV, E3 or something, what do you look at? The information, they give you a quick run-down of the story, show you some graphics and gameplay, get you some information and so on. That's the reason I haven't downloaded it, and besides I'm on school computers I'm not able to run RMXP games.

Ok the screenshots should be working. Ill put some storyline Info. and OMFG those three things are exactly what i was thinking i needed to do right now. I did edit the database oh so slightly.

The story is actually pretty bland, reminds me somewhat of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, when Marche and friends read about the final fantasy universe and then they go to another world different than what they were just in last night. Try to spruce up the story some.

Give some character information, are we playing as a child, or as an adult from your storyline I cannot tell. The screenshots are also lacking except for like one, the others need more work on them.

Sorry your thread is just really unimpressive and many people won't give it a second look, unless you start to improve it. I'm sure there are tutorials around with RMVX for working on world maps (I'm assuming one is) or other places.

new game? Do you have a storyline? Cause you should have a complete storyline before doing anything else.
