RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

Everyone who has videos of their games on Youtube please lookout for companies who are trying to claim your work. You can check your account and if a notice is there about copyright problems then CHECK IT! If you are already noticing ads on your videos then a company is claiming/disputing copyrights to the work. I recently had to dispute GoDigital who is trying to claim my game Dark Chaos.

I am sure some companies are doing this just to get more ads online then actually really wanting the rights to the games.

it's time to poke
Oh yeah, some assholes tried to claim a copyright to music that I made. Original music.

It was a quick solve, though (and even if I didn't, who cares? It was kind of a throwaway tune.)

Take-Two Interactive (the distributor) had my GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony let's play removed. But that's obviously not my game. Never had any company try to take down my work or make money off of it.

I remember once I had put something up, original graphics (Horrible drawings) and such. With RTP game music, company assumed it was from final fantasy...:s Its kind of annoying because I got it from rpg maker lol.
Deceased, the memories of time flow ever lasting. Let the passion of the living and the dead touch you, and give you their wisdom.

I'd sooner die than leave your side, I'd sooner rust than let you die.

I heard this works if your video pertains to any of the mentioned categories:
Quote
1) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with.
2) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process".
3) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form".
4) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it;
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."
