I am working on a little RPG on my lonesome that I want to be more drama and story-based. It's a bit typical supernatural, vampires, weres; but set in a kind of steam-medieval time-castles, but some limited communications, like short-wave radios but no real phones. The first part is where you as a character can choose a new class (were or vamp ooo~) and throughout, elements of dating, where you can better relationships, gain battle partners, even affecting the ending. The second would be mission-based, going around the countryside, doing work.

The story revolves around the daughter of a woman who was once a famous royal guard and is now watched over by an "aunt" when she is chosen to join the royal guard in memory of her mother. She doesn't know the father (which will vary on your choices!)

I started on it two years ago and lost my work, but I'd started on scripting out the different dialogue trees and doing up the castle. I had the main room and the beginnings of the different sides for the barracks, a few shops, a swampy area you had to cross, an infested dungeon. I'll have to build it back up, buuuut...

I think it'll be well worth it to redo it, especially since I bought the official version rather than the pirate. (Old shame, I know, right?)

It sounds like a neat idea. I wish you the best of luck!

Sounds intriguing enough. I really like your choice of setting.

I'll be keeping tabs on this.
