Hi everyone,

I'm new to the community, so I thought I'd post a quick introduction here.  My name is David.  I'm new to RPG Maker in general (aside from messing around with the PlayStation RPG Maker back in the day), but am getting the hang of VX so far.  In learning my way around the system I've found rmrk.net to be an invaluable resource during the last week, so I decided to join.  I look forward to getting to know you guys, and hope to hang around this community for a long time to come.

Sure, call me that if you want.  I'll try to remember to respond to it.   It's actually short for Bad Dirt Marvel, which means nothing, but anagrams into my name.  I assume it'll probably be easier for you to type BDM or even just BD though.  Saves time.

Thanks for the welcome guys.  As for a project post, it might take me a while.  Most of my work so far has been in Photoshop.  My goal is to create all original art and music and to write an interesting story.  So far I'm mainly working on tilesets and sprites, but it's all test stuff for the moment.  Real mapping probably won't begin until I have most of the tilesets done at least.
