I finally upgraded my desktop to windows 7, What irock is saying is clearly silly. XP is getting old you might not have to let go of it now but someday you will

I've yet to buy/play a game that uses the new features in the newer versions of DirectX that probably because I have no money but ohwell

Yup, I have no idea as to what Irock speaks of; most things are much faster on 7 and the new features are terrific. Overall, it's really a fantastic and near perfect operating system for what I use it for.
