RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

To create a party member, go to the hero tab in the database. Increase the array size by one and configure your hero in the new slot at the bottom.

To add the party member somewhere in the game, make an event with the "change party" event command from the first page in the event commands.

To change your starting party members go to the system tab in the database and change the "starting party"

My insanity keeps me sane
Yeah so build the NPC as a hero and just add it as per normal

If you don't want then controlled by the player in battle find and tick the computer control option, oh and lock equipment

Or if you want them as a party member but not on the "party" have a message displayed saying "NPC joined the party" or something and turn on a switch to symbolise this. so any events that react to the NPC on the party only have to look for to switch being on, rather the NPC on party, as the previous method
Insanity is the Emergancy Exit, so smileā€¦ It's the only way out alive
