rm2k side-view battle system

I was wondering if there was a way to make rm2k a side-view battle system, but still be turn-based. I'm not sure if this counts as vague, if so tell me. Also plz tell me if im in the wrong place. I'm stil kinda new.

Well yes, but i was looking for a side-view turn-based battle system and rm2k3 is atb.

You can't do it with rm2k3 since it's automatically an ATB, my suggestion is that to "fake" the rm2k battle system but it'll be tedious so don't count it. Either use rpgmaker XP/VX or make a custom battle system.
