Dubbed the Nintendo DSi LL, the new portable will feature a 4.2 inch screen. Priced at ¥20,000 (US$220) the DSi LL will be released on November 21. The "LL" refers to the extra large size.

Didn't they just recently release a "new" (now old) new DS that basically had like 1 new feature and nobody bought it?

ITT: We miss the point.

There is no difference between the DSi LL and the DSi other than its size. The point of the 4.2 inch screen on the DSi LL is so that people with vision impairments (or the elderly) can play the DS without straining their eyes. The resolutions on both screens has not changed, and so DSi LL will have a lower pixel density and thus look a bit shittier. For us normal people, it is in no way preferable to regular DSi.

Nah brah, they're just being ignant. Although I wish they would release those colors state-side. That Brown and Red look slick.
Those styluses are pretty big though...

I was hoping the resolution would be different, so I could buy a DS with a nicer screen and all, but that kind of defeats its purpose :/
