State effect

Ok,so in the game I'm making there's something that I couldn't do with eventing,so since I'm no good with scripting I thought I'll ask for help :D maybe someone can help me.

(gonna use the exact names so it will be easier to understand)
So,in the game there's an item,shadow orb,that casts Dark Energy on the characters,BUT when used on a specific character (Ronan) the dark state changes to another one (Darkside) -only does this to ronan- , this is done,what comes up next is the part where I failed.

Basically what the state does,is that it changes Ronans skills,takes away the 6 skills he has,and replaces them with 6 other ones.And when the state wears off,the skills change back. -whatever I tried with events failed...that's why I was wondering if scripts can help me-

So can anyone help me :D?

So basically, you want a state to be able to remove and add skills?

in a nutshell,yes

or if it is more simple,then to change the skills to other ones for a specific character only until it wears off,then changes them back.

the other point is that it does this only for one character from the whole game (which would be Ronan)
