Moving NPCs

I can move my own character, like in a event. I create a new event, then go into the event commands and click on move event. Instead of moving the NPC it moves my own character, so am I doing it wrong?

First, make sure that you're doing everything (Messages, sound, music, etc.) in one event. If you want another character that moves, create an event of just that character and name them something memorable (i.e. their real name/function). In the event that everything comes from, go to move event, and take a look at this box:

[spoiler=move event][/spoiler]

Select the event you want, tell them to move, and voila.

Thanks. I put it in one event, but I selected the mover to Hero
