He does work! He moves forward (or backward, if you reverse polarity) and the can slips out without any disassembly.

There's a massive robot exhibit at the Carnegie Science center, here, and my girlfriend and I went. We decided to buy "build it yourself" robots (meant for 4 year olds lol) while we were there.

Now I have a robot friend.

Well, not exactly, he's not remote controlled. But you CAN use him to deliver beer to other people, so long as he has a flat surface to travel across, haha.
