songs wont play,item SEplays but item is not used, skills dont show up,SE's work

i put rm 2k3 on my 2000 pro but the songs,skills, and items act as if they dont exist...
it only allows clubs and leather armor to be equipped, no matter how much i change it in the items tab, and even with those equipped, there is NO stat change at all
it allows me to "use" items, and the SE is played, but all items have NO effect, no matter what i use. Skills don't appear inside, or outside battle...

PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ can somebody help me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!...?

I would like a clearer explanation please. My head hurts and I am having a hard time reading what you need help with.

Please show us a screenshot of your item database where I could see the effects and such on the items that aren't working and your systems tab.

Of course It can't
1. For Song, You should look At the detail of the song, I guess in Rpg maker 2000, You only can Play Midi, And in Rpg maker 2003 (Latest version) You can use MPEG Layer 3 Audio. Try to check it out...
2. For skills, It's different, When You use rpg maker 2003, There will use battle chara that connected with skill and battle animation, But not in Rpg maker 2000, Because in Rpg maker 2000, there aren't any Chara battle animation, And that's make it can't work , I guess...
3. For Items, I guess you better check again on the database, Maybe your battle animation don't appear too...
