Event page help!

Hi I've made a quest with RPG maker VX but everything is played sequentially

I've made a soldier with this commands (see image 1) (they are at the bottom because it didn't succeed)
When I touch the soldier he said I have a quest blbalblalba yes or no when I yes press and I talk with him again he said       (image 2) "have you kill the monster?" when I then press again he goes further but the text he then said(image 3) must be after I killed the monster (image 4 and 5)

Crop your images; and save 'em as a .jpg.

Most people (me incl.) won't bother checking 5 2mb images.

@the first three: In the second page, you set the variable to 2. You're supposed to set the variable to 2 after you kill the monster.

What are variables for,I just use switches.
