I already have Xbox Live. I hook my laptop to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet chord.

But I have a friend who doesn't, and I wanna help her obtain it without having to spend $100 on a wireless receiver. She's got a desktop that's FAR FAR AWAY from her 360, no laptop, and no wireless router.

What is the cheapest way I can hook her up to Xbox Live? I'm not looking for free, but whatever is the most cost-effective.

You can get powered, wireless ethernet "cables."

Only they aren't cables, since they're wireless.
