Well, i didn't even know you removed ads for guests, but if you honestly need the money i wouldn't mind one on the homepage.

Like at the bottom, where i don't have to look at it.

I didnt notice the ad's had gone, they also bring income for the site so it's a good thing

Roph, even though the community has a lot of say in what goes on here, the site is ultimately yours and Crank's. I don't think any of the regulars would complain about you doing what you need to do to keep the place up and running. I know I sure wouldn't.

The site's ok =o This month is paid for and I've got next months (21st feb's bill) covered which will mean rmrk next needs money on april 21st =o

It's me that needs money, but I wouldn't wanna spend rmrk money (from ads or donations) on myself or anything but RMRK. Which is how it's always been =o

no! if you need the computer by all means you need to use the ad revenue and or donations as long as RMRK is fine. I thought this was about generating income for your computer while RMRK is financially stable

Google hasn't sent its ad crawler to RMRK in a while, since no ads have been on rmrk in a while. So for now, it has none. The top one defaults to public service, the right one just shows a solid color (same as the background, so it's hidden) if there's nothing to show.

It's throwing out bullshit right now since it hasn't crawled, as said in my last post. I see swedish language or something ads right now =s

It'll take a few hours, or maybe up to 48 I think till google properly crawls (crawlers for normal search and crawlers to place relevent ads are seperate).

It seems to be getting better for me, already I see ads about online games (actually one I played, shaiya =o)
