Question on Doing INNS

ok so I have got most of this done, in fact all of the event except there is a problem when I test played it. I've got an INN set up in my town and Ive got it so that you touch the front desk and the Inn keeper asks you if you want a room for 5 gold, and Ive got it so that when you have gold it will subtract it and restore all your stats, but this is where my small problem is, when you have no gold it still allows you to stay the night and everything, How do I fix that so that if you dont have the gold then you dont get to spend the night in the inn
