Total Payback [ Resolved]

Alright... what's going on here? The Total Payback update for Mercenaries 2 is nowhere to be found on Xbox Live Market, and it didn't automatically download when I started the game either!

I checked Google, and I've only found out dated news reports on delayed release dates for the patch. I've also read posts of people claiming they've been able to play as Obama and Palin just fine, and according to Wikipedia, Total Payback WAS released. So why isn't it there?

The whole reason I bought this game was so I could blow shit up as Obama. I don't even think this game is that awesome. Maybe GOOD, but not EPIC.

What happened to Total Payback? If it's been released, how do I get it?

To get this out of the way: You're retarded.

In other words, you can't believe everyone saying that they got it, and if they did chances are that it was put out and quickly removed, such as the way an auto shutting door goes. Say you're in a room with only one exit, and the door is going to slam shut and lock in 5 seconds. People closest to the door will jump out into freedom and the rest of you are left in the dark.

chances are that they are lying and you love to believe everything said on the internet.

It was a highly pointless and non-relevant metaphor though.

In other words, if you were a garage door opener, that post was the spare tire in the back, and there was nothing else in the garage, then chances are nougat falafel catcher's mitt.

I'd say this topic was successfully derailed.

Despite as confusing as it may seem, let me make it clearer.

People inside the room are the people who don't have the update. People on the outside are. The door opens, and only a few people can move out and enjoy the update before the developer realizes that the door is infact, open, and shuts it, so people on the outside get on their computers and post about how they are enjoying the update and people inside the room are not.

Yeah it is kinda dumb but still relevant.

Actually...

Obama and Palin ARE there! Totay Payback was an update, not a DLC. The DLC I needed was "Blow It Up Again". Once I downloaded that, I just needed to go to the wardrobe and select "Obaminator" or "Sarahcuda" and now I can play as Obama or Palin. ^^

Now what was that you were saying Anski, about how people were lying about playing as Obama and Palin? Care to repeat that? I guess you'll think twice before being a condescending jackass next time huh? :3

I need to think twice before asking the question here next time though. =_= I should have just signed on to the official Pandemic forums and asked THEM from the beginning.
