NIKO MY COUSIN, WELCOME TO AMEREEKA

So I just got GTA IV again which is more demanding than Crysis. The frames per second are lower than I'd like and the texture loading takes a while. I'm assuming it's a ram issue, because I'm not getting a new quad core processor. Adding another gig of ram will make things better right. .-.

Nessiah

Holywhat...
and I just bought GTA 4, I hope my computer can play this thing O_o

What the hell... 2.5GB of ram?? Are you sure?  :=:

Holkeye

2.5GB of ram is actually pretty average by most modern games' standards. Irock, the best answer I can give you is "maybe." Unfortunately, the game doesn't seem to like your processor for some reason other than speed.

:)

add some ram then ;p

yay for pass >:|

What do I win for failing? I didn't even meet the minimum requirements.

I guess I'll add another gig of ram. ;o

Roph

Athlon X2 4600 is like 3-4 years old? It's too weak for this game. See if you can turn down settings like physics or particles or whatever to make it easier on your CPU.

Just play it on xbox fag

haloOfTheSun

He got a bunch of new parts for his computer for Christmas because he thought it would make his computer badass but lol he still can't play his games. :3

Irock

This is the only game I haven't been able to play without a few issues. It's still playable though. =o

haloOfTheSun

Don't lie you stupid rock.

I think the reason it fails recommended processor status is because they're pushing quad-core CPUs. It's kind of a lame thing to do, because it gives the impression that you can't fully enjoy the game without one.

Epic fail with my CPU that's a couple of years old with the only addition being a gig of RAM.

I got sick of my p4 running at 3.4ghz HT ;p

Whatever system requirement tool that is is bullshit. Megahertz doesn't mean much anymore. And in modern games it's about how many pixels and texels your card can push, neither of which it lists :| It seems to be a dumbed down retard version.

Or canyourunit.com. XD I assume it just takes whatever the box for the game says the minimum and recommended requirements are and then compares with your specs.

We're sorry, Roph, that the world is not as genius as you. XD
