Hi this is my new game I just wanted your opinion on the mapping.

These are just a few maps. This game is not even close to being finished I just want your

I take it, it isn't a coincidence.

As far as criticism goes, you need to work on your mapping.

you need to look up some mapping tutorials.

along with them, make maps rounder and more realistic in shape

you should also bear in mind not to leave many empty spaces..
like enormous, gigantic rooms with just one bed or a book shelf in the middle

Yes, I agree with all the others. Your mapping is a bit plain, it seems to be all square-y kind of thing.

and why do we see the start menu?

twice in some screen shots, I mean I would understand if you ended up just using a screen shot and not cropping, but that wouldn't make since for the two start menus. That being said, yes, your maps are to open and therefore unrealistic feeling. Also, try to never have square bodies of water/ cliffs (unless they are obviously man made, or this is pokemon... pokemon is aloud to make mistakes like that)

Yeah, stop posting in threads that have been inactive for a year. The only exceptions I can think are posting in event system/script threads for help with the event system/script. And some other things that are outside of the RPG Maker section.
