    • Yo... erm i somehow picked up these trojans. I was on MSN when suddenly my computer shuts down. Now when i turn it on i cant go on the internet because it says i have a trojan then AVG tells me what they are

    1: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUS
    2: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUU
    3: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUT
    4: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUS
    5: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUU
    6: Trojan horse Generic_c.ABUT

    Now i cant get on the internet because this keeps popping up (on my laptop right now) anyway i could sort this thing out? Im am also getting this thing telling me to go to a site and download something http://www.defender-review.com/?a=112

    now i havent downloaded that as im pretty sure its just some other bullshit

    Help would be very much appreciated

    • i try to scan with Spybot but whenever i click "check for problems" it comes up saying i need to update, so when i try to update it just says it cant find anything and crashes. What do i do now?

    • Start>programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
    Back up any recent files after restore date on a thumb drive compared to what the restore date is. Run the restore for that date's check point. It will be gone.
