So, I started learning CSS last night. I just started, so go easy. .-.

I was like HEY I SHOULD TRY TO MAKE A BASIC WEBSITE WITH MY KNOWLEDGE so I made this.

Then I was like I SHOULD TRY TO MAKE MY OWN BANNER so I made this. I don't think it's very good, lol. ._.

I would like feedback, criticism, and for you to tell me which one you prefer.

Oh, and it doesn't seem to work in internet explorer. Too bad. :)

Just a thought, but in /salt, couldn't you make your banner out of regular old text? That would reduce load time a little bit, and it would be one less image for people to cache in their browsers.

Oh.

Because "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Mauris eros orci, gravida quis, rhoncus id, aliquam elementum, justo. Vivamus at dui nec pede consequat tincidunt. In justo. Quisque pharetra nulla at nibh. Donec tempus consequat orci. Suspendisse est ligula, consectetuer vitae, condimentum sit amet, vulputate sit amet, nulla." is something I've only seen in Dreamweaver presets.

I'm not quite sure what you did there, did you create your own tag or something?

Yes. I'm sure there's a better way to do it, but it works.
