I'd always wanted to do a Megaman RPG with 2k3 [NES / Famicom based], but I always run into the issue of how the tilesets should look, as well as the issue of how I should go about making the tilesets, as well as how the battle BGs should look. Could someone supply some examples? :-[

I'll try some on my own, for now... but if anyone has help to offer, I would very much appreciate it.

I'd take a look at that one Mega Man card game. It's taken from a top down view, I think, or this is at least what the character graphics would imply. Check em out at Sprites Inc.

Thanks, Arrow... xD there's no overworld set, but the sprites are great ;D

On other notes, as far as an 8-bit MM RPG goes... how should the battles be played out, do you think?

Current set, including Megaman, Protoman, and Dr. Light, as well as the base I made to create the three (Final touches by Arrow)

Very much so, thanks Arrow. xD... Now there's the matter of creating a decent NES chipset that matched Megaman... but it'd probably help if I knew which bosses were in the game.
