A few of us have been playing AoE2 for a few days. There was a thread made over a year ago, but we don't play by the rules.

What is AoE2
AoE2 is a real time strategy game by Microsoft. It takes place before fancy cars and electricity, so there are just arrows and swords and cannons and horses and stone and gold and wood and food and castles and sheep. You start from some losers and work your way up to an empire. The goal is to defeat your enemies in combat. (at least the way we play it)

Ventrilo
Some of us use Ventrilo while playing, but if you want to do that you can connect to ts.rmrk.net and figure it out on your own.

HOW DO I PLAY
Download (<- click)
Extract
Get Hamachi
Connect to RMRK BUTTS Password: Swordo
Launch age2_x1.exe from your AoE2 folder
Configure your settings and name from options
Go into the IRC channel (irc.rmrk.net | #crankeye)
Try to find someone willing to play
Enter their Hamachi address after clicking Multiplayer and Internet TCP/IP connection and Show Games
Join
Play

Rules

I suggest you guys download instead of playing it off your own disk. There would most likely be version incompatibility otherwise.

ALSO: For those of you who have problems connecting like (Can't join game) or a problem that no one can join yours/read your message, then ask me cuz i have it solved.

though its sorta hard to explain on a message. So come to the chat machine.
