[request] hunting

ok in my game you have a few skills such as :
fishing and construction

im wokring on a hunting skill but it not bow hunting or anything like that its trap hunting
example: you lay out a trap and wait for the animal to walk into it. Like a rabbit runs into a snare

can somone explain how i would make traps like that?


im sorry if im posting in the wrong place i though it might be event related

is it only on specific maps? or can you use the trap skill on any map in your game?

it will be an event so i guess only on specific maps

Check where the trap is, make a variable for the trap's X and Y.
Have the animal check it's X and Y, if trap XY = animal XY then bam, animal caught.
