Is there a way to make a script so enemies level up with you or they are around your level. Its like final fantasy VII. But i also want them to like have a maximum level in some areas. So lets say im on an island and all my characters are at level 10 then the enemies would be around level 10. But If im on the same island and im say level 50 then the enemies would only be at a max of 15 for that area because i would want the enemies to stop leveling at a certain level. So on a different island the enemies could go to a max level of 40 but if your only at level 30 they will be around level 30. If u dont get it i will try to explain better.

I don't remember enemies leveling up as I did in FFVII
I remember the game developers putting more difficult enemies in the later areas of the game, in order to keep the challenge level adequate, but I don't remember the feature you're discussing.

tl;dr what are you talking about?

I think that Drakoshade's Dynamic Difficulty script has a feature to set the maximum levels for mobs. When set, the mobs will stop having their stats adjusted to a certain level.

Try looking for it ; ]

Yeah, so if you want the same monsters to get increasingly difficult as you level, then the Dynamic Difficulty Script is what you're looking for.

If you want to fight harder, but not the same monsters as you level up, then you could use my Random Encounters by Level script: http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,24610.0.html

So, which is it?

I think he forgot an I in the roman numeral. It's VIII that has enemies that leveled up with you. I've seen plenty of systems like this for XP but since I don't have VX I don't know any with the same function...

But I'm sure he's talking about Final Fantasy VIII.

I don't recall this from VIII either

It is, I'm playing it through at the moment. The enemies level up based on Squall's level. So if he's level 12 a Bite Bug would be level 12. The only enemy exempt from this was Omega Weapon, I think.

@Kyrsty: No exception for Omega.  :P He's alot harder when on lvl 100.
