This request is for project Leviathan (RMVX)

I'm using modern algebra's dash animation script, and I'm requesting a dashing sprite of these two characters :

An example of a dashing sprite is this :

The above sprites are the normal walk sprites, and the below sprites are the dashing sprites.

Even small edits that is done to achieve a dashing effect will be hugely appreciated and your name will be in the credits of project Leviathan.

Uhm... I'll give it a try bud. I'll see what I can do tomorrow. I'll let you know though, I don't know if it'll come out as well as I think it COULD unless I redo the sprites in a new position, but we'll see.  ;)

I'm probably going to have to write a patch if that's the way you want the dashing sprite. The script changes to dash sprite as soon as you press Shift, so if you hold shift and stand still it uses the middle graphic of the dash sprite. But, once the request is done just give me a shout and I'll see what I can do to make it fit with that design.

Alright, well, I want you to test this. Let me know which you like better. I only changed the views of the left and right, so as of now sprinting up or down will look the same as usual. Sprint left for a bit, tell me how it flows for you, then sprint right for a bit and do the same.

The sprite sprinting right is lower and leaning further than the sprite sprinting left. Let me know how you like 'em and I'll finish it however. :)

What happened >_<
I imported the "_run" image, but then this error pops up.

That must be a problem with the script. Either that or you are setting the _run graphic as the primary graphic of your character and then pressing SHIFT

If it's a script problem I'll rectify it. For now, you can just do the test by setting the _run graphic as the primary character and NOT pressing shift

Okay, tested it and I would say the sprite facing the right (the one facing further down) animates better as a dashing sprite.
Though it still seems a bit stiff. Perhaps you can add some hair movement, grafikal?
