Australia's internet prices suck!

I've only got dial-up here in Australia only because our prices are rediculous for broadband services. For ages the argument has been that Australia's internet speed was one of the slowest in the world, well it's recently been brought up to speed with adsl2+, so that's not true anymore, but the prices are rediculous. When I search Google and look (and drool) at other countries prices and when I compare them to ours, there can be quite great price differences. Even some of our dial-up services can price up to around $40 for crap deals. Although I only pay about $10 for mine, it was a promo deal!

About the only "free" dial-up we have is if you have a broadband plan with a backup dialup account or some phone deal, which ours are rip offs.
