He lives in a post apocalyptic world crawling with monsters, mutants and other things trying to kill him. I don't think he has time to care about this cloths being a little messy.

It may LOOK like it but this game is the grandfather of all western RPG's.

Fallouts 1 and 2 were awesome.

I miss the old PC game companies like Sierra, Troika, and Black Isle. It's such a shame that someone is going to take another great series and mar it just to sell more copies. Sure, this could be the best game that comes out for 360, but that doesn't change the fact that it ISN'T A FALLOUT GAME.

In my opinion, even a slight name change like: Fallout: (Whatever) would be better than Fallout 3.

PS. Fallout is not steampunk. Fallout is Post-Apocalyptic. Arcanum is steampunk.

Never played Fallout 1 or 2, but I was really considering torrenting it a year back...I was in need of a good rpg, but I'm full atm.
It looks pretty sweet, except that it seems like oblivion in a post-apocalyptic setting. I'm sure this has been stated many times before, though...

Reading over what Bethesda has to say, i'm having my second doubts. I might actually play this now, and i'm leaning more and more that it might actually be good, if only I can get over the fact that making it first person ruins it.

Pretty much every game Bethesda has ever made has been first person, what are you worried about?

Frankly, even if this is Oblivion in a new setting, I'd still buy it and then wait 4 years until I had a good computer to play it.
