Tileset Ripping tools?

I realize there aren't really a whole lot of RMXP rips from older SNES games- so I am in the mood to do some of my own for a game I've been inspired to make.

I made one using pain that just took WAY too long. Anyone know of any good tools/methods for doing so? I use ZNES and used paint for rips in RM2k (and yes I own the original games of what I am ripping).
