    • Im having the same problem too...but for some reason my MP3's work, but the midi music doesnt. But the midi music plays fine outside on windows media player...
    is this the same with you?

    Anyone would know why this might happen? Codecs, upgrades?

    • go to master volume (type in sndvol32.exe into run)

    turn up SW synth.

    That fixed it for me.

    • I have a creative sound card i think, but i have  conole that I can pull up, to hear the music you need midi turned up...
