Ohh! this is alot of work to be done, but mine turned out pretty good. if you follow the steps it takes... then you should just about do it.

P.S. i recommend saving the pictures to prevent forgetting. and also for future reference.

P.P.S.   Umm... the quest names and stuff like that, the labels all that, you put what you want, i just took pictures of my work in progress and didn't have time to edit it. :P

Spoiler for:
The first step would be to create an item called Quest log (obviously) and a common event named Quest Log youmay have to change the array size up a few.
On the Quest log item make sure that you have the item set like this.

On the common event screen, on the new event you created (quest log) make the trigger parallel, and the Trigger switch should be called Quest Log. like this:

then comes the hard part. and scince i don't have that much time to write this i'm just gonna put pictures up instead. lol :P.

that should do it... sorry if it's really long... i'm rushing today!  :P

now whenever you have a quest being started, make an event that changes the variable of that quest +5. and it should turn out fine.

this has some bugs with SMS or CMS systems.

yeah... it's alot of work... but it works, really well.
