    Please don't do this. You should always check the date before you post. If the date is OLDER THAN 6 WEEKS please do not post in the thread. That is called "Necroposting." It has become a problem since some people have been posting in threads as old as TWO YEARS with useless posts. Please do not go back like 5 pages on a board and just post in all those topics. Staying generally relevant is a good things, seeing as nearly 90% of those people have left. For those who continue to do it, please stop. It isn't good seeing a thread from 2005 being posted in with nothing to say. Yes, some threads could be revived, such as many in the Intellectual Debate section, but this is obviously frowned upon and your actions will be scolded without hesitation.

Please.


Don't post in threads over 6 weeks, especially if they are two years old.

I'm necro-double posting this because we've been having a number of zombie threads popping up recently. Seriously people, if there's a warning that says "Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 60 days", it's probably not worth posting in that thread unless you have something significant to contribute, like finding a bug in an old script. Otherwise, just make your own bloody topic and be done with it.
