IROCK'S BIG PETITION TO BRING CCOA TO RMRK

After reading this, I was shocked and disgusted at what Treg did to gain root administrator powers at hbgames.org. After all the time, dedication, and money Ccoa put into hbgames.org, Treg just took it all away.

I say we all make a super big petition that will be sent to her to show how much we care, and how much we want her at RMRK!!!

Why not just do an invitation. She (probably) knows that's we're laid-back. Personally, I always love when someone else joins these forums. The more the merrier. It sounds like she's had a tough time over there and I'd like if she came here. We can be fun people lol.

As for piracy, not everyone here endorses it. I myself wish everyone would pay for a copy of the RPG Makers if they use them, but I also recognize that it's wishful thinking. If Enterbrain comes here and tells us to remove links, I'm sure Roph would comply, they don't bring the site any revenue as far as I know.

But yes, of course I do. If CCOA needs a new RPG maker home, this forum should welcome her with open arms. We are not villainous software pirates, and we are not sensationalist controversy vampires. We're good people, and I fully believe that I can trust this community to treat her with kindness and respect.

Those aren't my ads on the main site, those are crankeye's =o. I have no idea how much they make him, but he definitely doesn't contribute any of the earnings to  RMRK, so you could consider them a loss or something? The "revenue" is the forum ads only, and it certainly doesn't cover the costs.

Also the site is in the middle in what it offers:

PK -> PK & Official (current) -> Official. No cracked VX or Game maker will be up there.

The next version of the site will not host anything that could be considered illegal. Obviously we won't go so far as to punish / ban due to mentions of PK or discovering that a user has it like rmxp.rog does, we just won't offer / endorse its use anymore
