Personally I think Jagex, in all good heart, really screwed the game up. They messed up the economy with the price caps they set. PVP is ruined b/c of some other crap.

All b/c they want to get rid of bots. Bots are a fact of every game's life and they should just get used to it. It unfair when people use bots to get an advantage, but it's also unfair to the players when the company places all these restrictions.

Indeed it is. Me not being able to make an "unbalanced trade" or kill a player without them expecting it, or stake in the duel arena, is wrong. A lot of people made their money by player killing, or staking, or merchanting.

Imagine if you went to college for several years training a certain skill, and you work for a while, and then the government says "Hey, we're taking away your job, go get a new one." You've already spent years in college training a certain skill for a certain job, and now all that means nothing because they took away the job that requires that skill. The only options are to live life with no skills and a dead end job, or go back to college and practice a skill for a job you already earned. It's like they're throwing the player's hard work out the window and telling them non of it matters. All those years you spent in college was a waste of time.

Around 3. Each time was in Ardougen (spelling?) south bank.

Why runescape?

My computer isn't fast enough to support World of Warcraft. And I like MORPGs.

A major part of the game was the PvP wilderness, that is, a large combat area where players fight eachother, if you die, you lose all your items and the person who kills you get them. Basically they took it out and replaced it with a smaller, crappier version of it.

And whats that summoning thing like?

[biased opinion] It's clicking on a rock while having some random items in your invintory. Then you click what you made to summon a  "monster". Basically it's just a dumb skill with a catchy label. [/biased opinion]

I play but not that often. But i do every once in a while. Arena is the best PvP system in runescape.
