Yes, it's a Kingdom Hearts fanart.
I'm sorry to Kairi fans if I messed her up. I don't really like her anyway. Namine is love.

You got a problem? Fix by yourself.

Oh it's so beautiful, I like the rose especially. =)

I see you've improved, the lighting on their hair is much better than your previous picture 'mirror'.
I suggest you to do more shading though. Hmm...I would like to suggest you a very simple lighting on skin but, I'm a little too busy right now. Maybe later.
Also, their chests are too flat. Not so proportional, but I think you'll fix that over the time. Right now, this is your way of thinking but I'm sure next year you'll see it differently.
That's why I'm not gonna force you to understand about body proportions, you'll understand them naturally.

I love your talent, keep it up, Jappy. I can't wait to see how you improve.

Thanks. =) The only non-human thing I can really draw is flower. XD
Bout chests... yea. XD Some ppl said this: "You're drawing yourself." I was like, "Hun?" And then they said: "They're all flatchest, like you." LOL. D=
Can you suggest the shading etc? if possible, you may edit my pic too to tell me my cons.

Haha..Lol I guess many artists unconciously draw themself when draw a same gender character.
Me no different. =)

For the shading, example...the lights came from right.
Add darker color on the left, use brush tool in different layer and draw following the lines. Use eraser tool to make them neat. I can give you more examples or edit yours a bit, but not now.
I'm currently waiting for my Editor online in MSN. Don't want to make him wait. =)

Cool.  Keep working on proportions.  The left arm of the girl in pink (sorry I don't know who's who because I don't play video games) appears longer than her right arm.  But as Emi said, you have improved, so keep it up!

Alright, this is a simple but not too simple shading effect.

First, add a new layer and choose brush tool. Pick a DARK color, and draw according to lines. See the pic below to see the size of the brush tool.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example.jpg

Next, shape and clean them using eraser tool. Also, name the layer ‘Clothes’ so you won’t confused. See the pic to see the size of the eraser.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example2.jpg

Next step, add another new layer, more shading with brush tool but this time, lower the opacity and bigger size.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example3.jpg

As usual, use eraser tool to make them neat. See the pic for the size. Also, if you want a more skilful result, you can use smudge tool for shading.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example4.jpg

I forgot to tell you, but you probably already know this. For an easy-clean up, use magic wand. Just click on the background layer and then click on the side you wish to clean. Next, just click on the layer (for example the clothes layer, if you want to clean the messy there) and press ‘delete’.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example5.jpg

Okay, simple shading is done. Next is the lighting effect. Add new layer, use brush tool but lower the size, pick a light color and draw the lines on the side where lights come. Don’t press so hard, it’s only a soft lighting.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example6.jpg

Now, merge all the layers and use burn tool on the left side to make the picture more alive. Don’t use too many burn or it’ll burns your picture. ^___^
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example7.jpg

Also, this is only a tip, but I think this will make your picture better. Drop Shadow. Add a new layer, use brush tool but this time with bigger size. Draw the shadow on the left side where lights don’t reach. Then, as always use eraser tool to clean up the messy.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example8.jpg

Okay they’re technically done, but for a more satisfying result you can use smudge tool on the shading. Sorry if I messed up your words, Jappy. >_> Usually, I would use the magic wand tool to clean the lines but I don’t have your original Non-colored Background so this is as much I can do.
http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc113/emidy/example-done.jpg

Skin shading is no different. Now, it’s your turn.

Try do shading on Namine. Perhaps you can do somethin more creative. =)

That's an interesting approach to painting, Emi.
