I had an idea for a rated E game. Have a look at the start of the title screen- and the first title screen I've ever, ever, ever made in pixel art.

That looks wicked. I love the crayons especially, though there is a little black line going through the base of the tips that looks unnatural.

Everything is nice except for the black line that M_A mentioned. Just change the shade of that part of the crayon, and possibly do away with the line.

Also, why does that face in the sky remind my of Bill Cosby?

Here's a logo for good measure. That screen up there has a long ways to go yet before its juuuuust right, but I like how things are proceeding.

Take out the black lines, use more realistic shading on the pencil and stuff, look at writing on a real pencil, the grass in the front is boring.

I would, but that would kill the way I'm trying to style it (kids draw everything with black outlines), I think adding any more writing to the pencil would make it clutter, and yes, the hills are AWFUL, and need to be completely redone. The one the guy is running away from the bird over isn't even the right color yet- its farther off into the distance than the others, it should be bluer.

I think kids are into Power Rangers. I've never seen a kid into number two pencils, erasers, (and buckets of ointment?).

All in all, its finished. I just need to do the falling rocks, and polish the collision detection a bit.

As much as it pains me, I think may need to redesign Gogo. He might scare small children- and the more I think about it the more it seems to be possible.

Unless there is some way for me to run a poll with kids, I dunno how I'm gonna decide.

What's a good forum, with lots of small children, where I could run said poll? (no jokes, please, this is my first attempt at a serious original game.)
