Hey all, Im just wondering, IF I were to say be using the unregistered version of Game Maker, and had the same level of knowledge of C++ as I would with Ruby and RMXP, which one would give me more functionality for making an RPG game. Thanks for repling. Also please dont flame this, its just an innocent question lol thank you =p

RPG maker would be easier, but game maker would be better. If you make an RPG with RPG maker, you'll just be another person, making an rpg with premade system. If you built your own RPG engine in game maker, you'd be a real RPG maker.

Alright, your beggining to convince me, anyone know the best sites for learning Game Maker, and possibly sites that are more based on Video Game Programming C++
