TV help!

Kay, so I got this rly old TV.
A Sanyo something or rather. It works fine downstairs, and with the Ps2 hooked up it's fine for gaming.
Only when I bring it upstairs, everything stays the same... only the ps2 colour is gone.
I don't have tv source upstairs ( i do downstairs), and I wanna know why i got no colour D=
I've checked the connections, and everything seems to be fine.

Any suggestions?

are there any electrical devices in and around the place you put your tv upstairs. my desktop fan makes my tv go black and white and crackly. .
