Sonic was the first one to come to mind when I saw this thread. Too bad most of his games suck ass lately.

Definitely Sonic. I think it would only take him ONE GOOD GAME to get him back in the spotlight.

I never really liked Sonic all that much, but I'll enjoy beating the crap out of him in Brawl. =)

Well, some people still do like him, despite the fact that he has no good games to his name lately.

BTW, what about the "Mario and Sonic Olympics" game? Think he might make a comeback with it?

Sonic Adventure was fun, even though it was mostly "Run to the end as fast as possible."

Then again, that's pretty much what Sonic does.

I also think that the left paddle in Pong had a great backstory.
