im wondering i saw this http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q-MZOifsq5s and i said hey i have those same sprites maybe i can make a game that it said it was made in rpg maker 2003 i have this but im wondering how in the world i would go about making a game like this in rpg maker and what version to do it in if you need alot of scripting can anyone suggest another program to make a 2d sidescroller like this

also i have rpg maker 2003 im wondering if its better than XP or what version out of all of them is better if XP is better for a project like the one above does anyone have a download for XP


PS: i have heard of styncil and thats not out yet and i want to make a game like this fairly soon

woa just figured it out rpk 2k3 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than XP,vehicles,random dungeun generator, still wondering how to make a game like that tho

no, it's not better. You can make vehicles with scripts, or events and The random dungeon generator sucked.
