XP- Random Battles

Sorry if you've seen this a thousand times, but I couldn't find anything that would help me...


 How do i make it so the battling is randomized in certain maps and caves, a la Final Fantasy style?

All you have to do to create a random battle is double click on the map you walk on and double click on the the white box which should say something about monsters and double click on that part, then add which ever monster you like and change the step encounter rate and after that all you need to do if walk around and a random encounter with thatt monster will happen.

You mind elaborating a bit more, instead of saying "click on that part"?

Alright what I am trying to do is, make a random battle system that pops up when you walk around. ie. Final Fantasy VII! I don't want to have to copy and paste the battles all around I have a day to do this and being able to random battle will really work better than having to have a battle placed randomly all over the screen so if you could please let me know how to do that. I am using the XP version for PC. Please use what the program calls things, such as EVENT TOUCH or PARALLEL PROCESS, I don't know what your thing means, I thought maybe it was a change encounter thing and I tried running it on everything from player touch to the parallel process so none of them worked. Please get back to me as soon as you can, if you can put in screen shots that would be even better so that I can just see instead of your having to tell me everything you could just show me but whatever is better for you.
