Hey im new to forum but been makin games for a few years now...ive decided to try something new, a hack and slash RPG maker 2003 game...where can i go to learn hwo to make a hack and slash?

You can't really make a 'hack and slash' game with RPG Maker 2003. The movement is tile-based and slow. The closest thing to hack and slash would probably be a Zelda style battle system, and even that wouldn't be as good as the original.

well u cant really make one with rpg 2003 but with the xp version u can do it with scripts it would be kinda slow thow maybe u can add a dash script with it to make it fast.

Actually, you could probably manage it with some creative eventing in 2k3... though I can't garenteee how good it would be.

If you use the delagging Wait 0.0 seconds in Rm2k3, and put it a bit good, it can be done. I do suggest you don't use Rm2k(3) or XP for a hack and slash game, for that go with GameMaker.
