RMXP- Starting Game Party/Creature Str *NEW*

[[[First, is there a way to start a new game with only 1 party member? If so, is there a way I can make people join later in the game?

Secondly, I want to make a room size completely smaller, smaller than the 20w and 15h constraint. Right now, I'm choosing a white tile and going over everything I don't want, but if a char enters that room, he can walk around the blacked out section. Is there a way to make it so the player is constrained within the smaller room I created?]]] <-------------- RESOLVED

If you start the game with one member, how do I make it so that the creatures are weakened in the beginning and get stronger as the player levels up and as the party levels up?

1 - yes, open the database and edit the party.

2. use walls, use black tiles. you cannot shrink the minimum size.

1) Yes. To set how many heros you start out with and who they are, go to the database,(F9) and click on the system tab. From the box labeled "Start Hero Group"(or something similar) you can manage your starting party.(right click)


And to change your party in game, create a new event. Then create a new event command. On the first tab, it will be labeled "Change Party," or something similar.
