And I wanted to play GoW and everything, so I was considering getting a new Graphics Card.

This SOB right here looks good. If I buy it, will it be easy to install? Because I've never bought any internal hardware or anything.

its a PCI card there the easiest to install.

open your pc
locate empty PCI bay/remove and eat old graphics card
touch the outer casing(this DOESNT mean touch the motherboard)
pickup your PCI card and slot it in
close pc
enjoy some sexy graphics

Sounds easy enough, but now people are telling me that graphic card is shit, and I need a $250 one. XD

:)

If you're gonna go for one then get a good one from whichever series. A geforce 7900 would outperform an 8200 =)

My GeForce 4 Ti easily beats a friend's FX5200, though the early FX cards were infamous for being shit.

Just get an 8800 or 8900 and you'll be set for ages. Also, in order of worst to best, GS -> GT -> GTX

GS cards are budget ones with features removed or they're slower, GT could be considered mainstream and the GTX ones are for nerds with big wallets who just want the most powerful available.

Try asking on this site, a friend of mine runs it: http://geforce3d.net =)

the 8900 is released? I thought the current highest was the GTX 8800 Ultra. Am I wrong?
